At the beginning of the void universe, everything was cold and silent. Within the Dire, the Circle of creation and destruction was constantly rotating. Until one day, this balance was shattered. Creation began occurring faster than destruction.
After that, things began to change. Life and death, light and darkness, cold and hot. For that reason, Dire fell into a long sleep. The World Tree named Yggdrasil was born from the shell of Dire. The excessive Creations linked by the Branches were the origin of the nine realms. The era of ice and fire began. This story has been passed on for generations.
Legend says that Yggdrasil can interfere with any laws of the nine realms, be it time, space, life, death, climate, or gravity. For thousands of years, it passed memories and essences to the Root, both maintaining the world's stability and protecting it from outsiders invading.
10 years before the Ragnarok, the mortal realms were invaded by the army of the Fallen Gods. The mortals prayed to the gods, but it was in vain.
Hence the occurrence of the Wolf Calamity. With all the Fallen Gods and Blasphemers gone, it seemed peace had been restored. But Helheim was stirring.
For thousands of years, the World Tree was ruled over by the gods and experienced a long period of prosperity and growth. This enduring age was dubbed the Primglory Era. However, during the Ragnarok Age, the human kingdom was invaded by Giants. The gods delivered their judgment from the God Realm, banishing the Giants from Midgard, the Mortal Realm, restoring humanity's faith again.
Meanwhile, Odin the Allfather attacked the capital of the Giants' kingdom personally and perceived truth through the Gate, becoming an almighty existence.
A century had passed since the Twilight of the Gods, when Ragnarok saw the final clash 'twixt Aesir and Vanir. Mortalkind knew only ash and agony in the war's bleak wake.
Yggdrasil, the World Tree upon which all fates hung, had been consumed entire by fell flames. The Scourgeblade drained its boughs of life until naught remained but a charred skeleton silhouetted against the gray ash-choked skies.
The Nine shattered Realms descended into a gloom deeper than the starless Void. Ash storm followed ash storm as the bellows of Surtr's mourning. Any flora or fauna not straightway snuffed out choked slow on the ashen shroud.
Those mortals who clung to their fleeting lives in those barren times knew no respite. Devoured they were, body and soul, by the Nightmare that now roamed the barren corpse-roads. Helpless as beached leviathans, these wretches could not e'en stir against the billowing tides of ash.
The "creations" linked by "Yggdrasil" the World Tree Gradually turned into nine completely different realms. Crossed by ice and fire, they were separated into three layers.
On the upper layer of Yggdrasil, there were Alfheim the Paradise of Elves. and Asgard the God Realm. On the mid layer of Yggdrasil, there were Midgard the Mortal Realm and Jotunheim the Giant Realm. Muspellheim the Fire Realm, Svartalfheim Dwarf Realm, And Nifheim the Fog Realm were located on the bottom layer of Yggdrasil.
Vanaheim and Helheim the Dead Realm were wandering in the outer world. They were firmly bound to Yggdrasil by an invisible force.
The residence of Aesir. Mortals call it the God Realm. Gladsheim, the palace of Odin the Allfather, is at the peak of Asgard.
The palace of Odin the Allfather is located at the peak of the mountains of Asgard. Some say it was built with all the gold in the realm. When this palace of miracles was completed, its brilliance was greater than sunlight. However, having been invaded by the frenzied Yggdrasil, it lost glorious appearance and exists as decadent as dusk.
After stopping Yggdrasil's rampage, the Allfather never set foot outside the palace again.
The elder Allfather of Asgard Once established the most glorious era of the nine realms
However, after the 「Yggdrasil Whisper」 He never stepped out of Gladsheim again and no one knew the reason behind it After that, Thor took over the 「God Realm」 without asking Gods thought that Thor was lacking the 「quality」 of a king and things started going downhill
As the 「Ragnarok」 approached, the 「light」 started fading away Tyr the God of War tried to turn the tide He sneaked into the Gladsheim with a 「wolf」 that carried [Soulbane] And finally woke Odin up from his dream
The place is called Nifheim It is the location where the gods and spirits assemble The remains of the world all come here for that reason It is the last Butterfly in the ashes
Library
Edge of the World was another name for the Fog Realm. Its bottom was addressed as the Colossus' Library. The place is separated from the realm. It is dark and dirty, and it feels like the time is paused here. The residents in the library gradually lost humanity in the endless darkness and despair. Those who only have their physical forms left have to survive on the excrement of the realm. They will pay everything to survive but no one is brave enough to embrace hope. However, they keep making detours in a spiral while singing to the unreachable glimmer.
"The fire has extinguished, The voidom is gone, The light is dim, And the singer of the book is nowhere to be found."
When the sun turns into darkness And the earth sinks into the ocean The scorching star will fall from the sky And the world will also be burnt into ashes
Giant and Magic Sword
The exiled fire giant Surtr built a humongous furnace in the Fire Realm. Some say this great fire giant once crafted the weapons for the gods. However, he kept repeating the forging process for thousands of years, and no new work was created during the period. The chaotic filth in his hands was expanding every day. In a certain prophecy, the unfinished Laevatain will become the start of Ragnarok. Countless eyes have been watching this sword for hundreds of years.
This is the battlefield for the nameless heroes. This is the corridor of courage who are reaching the last moment. They fear nothing because death is not a lonely end. However, the shapeless darkness shall still be respected.
Valhalla is located in a giant hole called the Great Crate in the ocean. Great Crate was once penetrated by the roots of Yggdrasil and it leads directly to Midgard. However, the ark of the gods was trapped and stranded here by the darkness spurting out of the crate. For that reason, they built the famous Valhalla on the wreckage of the ark.
Withered Temple
Valhalla once had a glorious history. The Valkyries and the holy spirits contributed greatly to Asgard's battle against the Vanir and Frost Giants. However, the Valkyries in Valhalla disappeared one after another and no one knew when it started. As for their whereabouts, there were numerous unimaginably rumors. Some say several Valkyries had become fallen gods. It marked the collapse of Valhalla. Like they were responding to the rumors, the holy spirits also started leaving. Only a few of them decided to stay.
Once a place where the giants hunted massive creatures, it became their graveyard, littered with huge rotten skeletons and dried body parts still recognizable.
These body parts have been integrated into the frozen land of the Giant kingdom, forming a unique frozen landscape. Those once hunted down ruthlessly by the gods have become silent fossils, forever locked in twisted and painful positions.
It is a palace built in the clouds made of large gray boulders, pulled through the air by a pair of giant Pegasus. It's said to be the palace of Thor, the God of Thunder.
Rumor has it that Thor built many terrifying mechanisms to practice with his warriors in the palace day after day. Exposed to the divine power of Thor and his descendants, the grayish-blue walls of the palace have been scorched with some even being destroyed.
