To upgrade a Soul Core you need enough Soul Core EXP.
The EXP of the Soul Core deployed in Skill Combo will increase when your character clears a level.
Or you can select the Soul Core you want to upgrade in your Soul Core Backpack and then enter the Upgrade Page. There you can choose to Upgrade, using other Soul Cores as upgrade material.
When some Soul Cores are consumed, there'll be additional effects. Please use them wisely!
Soul Cores can undergo an ascension process to raise their star level by fusing the core with duplicate copies of itself or with specific promotion materials.
Increasing a Soul Core's star rating through ascension has numerous gameplay benefits, such as:
Unlocking additional Soul Skills that augment the core's capabilities.
Progressing the Soul Core's affinity for new synergy effects.
Earning new chapters of the core's backstory lore through Memory completion.
Potentially triggering a promotional Awakening that transforms the core to a more powerful state.
The ascension system presents an engaging endgame content loop, challenging players to optimize their collection of high-starred Soul Cores. It also adds greater strategic depth and customization options to the process of Maximizing a character's moveset through continuous Soul Core promotions over time.
Use specific Soul Core Advancement Materials to increase the Soul Core Advancement level and improve the Soul Core by increasing attributes by a percentage.
Soul Core Advancement Materials can be obtained through challenging Rifts of Lv.40 or above in the Soulsteal Path. Soul Core Advancement Materials of different types can be looted from Monday to Friday randomly.
You can also buy any type of Advancement Materials from the Ancient Coin Shop.
The Advancement of different types of Soul Cores requires different materials.
Use your Soul Core Advancement Materials wisely to Advance more powerful Soul Core first.
When a Soul Core reaches a certain Star Level, the nature of the Soul Core can be unlocked. Soul Nature is a battle instinct deep inside a Soul Core. There are 2 types: Passive and Resonance.
Passive Nature can enhance the passive effect of the skills linked to the Soul Core in Skill Combo, such as an STA cost decrease, DMG increase, CD reduction, etc.
Resonance Nature can make a Soul Core fuse with skills perfectly, changing the style of the specific linked skills.
